The LAM is currently seeking an Arts Editor for Issue II: Flight and Fog. The role, which is an unpaid volunteer opportunity, requires a commitment from May to November 2026.

The successful candidate will be:

​

• A local artist or enthusiast living in Lanark County.

• A self-starter with demonstrated interest and engagement in small-town community initiatives.

• Have a dedicated interest in The LAM.

• Be available to assist with LAM events, fundraisers, and production.

• Be available 1-4 hours a week.

• Feel comfortable using Google Docs.

• Have an interest in joining The LAM long-term!

Their responsibilities will include:​

​

• Working collaboratively with the Creative Director.

• Reviewing Art submissions and selecting pieces to appear in The LAM, Issue II.

• Meeting with the team to discuss the magazine layout and production.

• Responding to communications (email, messages) in a timely manner.​
